MERIDEN, CT (10-17-2011) - At the invitation of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, Mishawaka, Indiana, Sister Barbara Johnson, FSE and Sister Kieran Foley, FSE of Meriden, presented talks on "Seven Ages of Community Life" at the Sisters of St. Francis' Community Day held recently at Mount Alverno, their Provincial motherhouse in Mishawaka. Eighty five sisters attended the workshop. Sister Barbara and Sister Kieran joined the Mishawaka community for prayer, meals and discussions during their two-day visit. "The Sisters are a very vibrant, welcoming community and we throughly enjoyed sharing with them and learning more about their critical ministries as our communities share the common Franciscan mission to rebuild the Church," commented Sister Barbara.
